In the third quarter of 2021, the top 5 food and drink apps in Australia showed varying trends in downloads and active users. Here’s a closer look at their performance based on data from Sensor Tower.

MyMacca's experienced significant growth in weekly downloads, peaking at around 122K in the last week of August. Downloads fluctuated but remained strong throughout the quarter, closing at approximately 95K in the final week of September. Active users also saw a notable increase, rising from about 493K at the start of the quarter to nearly 695K by the end.

DoorDash - Food Delivery maintained a steady download rate, with weekly downloads ranging from approximately 35K to 54K. The app saw a peak in weekly active users at about 776K in the last week of August, before ending the quarter with around 700K active users.

Uber Eats: Food Delivery showed consistent performance with weekly downloads hovering around 33K to 38K. Active users increased gradually from approximately 1.19M at the beginning of the quarter to around 1.41M by mid-September, maintaining this level through the end of the quarter.
